Traveller Questions

Planning details that matter.

How many days do I need for Assam and Meghalaya together?

Nine days is a tight but workable plan; eleven days is the sweet spot with two nights each at Kaziranga, Cherrapunji and Dawki.

Which order works best — Assam first or Meghalaya first?

Assam first. Kaziranga's safari logistics suit a fresh start, and Meghalaya's slow forests are the perfect finish.

Are permits required?

No Inner Line Permit is needed for Assam or Meghalaya. We handle all park, root-bridge and Dawki boating arrangements.
