Route Focus
Start with two nights at Kaziranga for two safaris, a Mishing village walk and birding hides, then drive south to Meghalaya through Guwahati for a slower five nights in the hills.

Nine days is a tight but workable plan; eleven days is the sweet spot with two nights each at Kaziranga, Cherrapunji and Dawki.
