Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh offer the deepest access. Nagaland's Konyak villages around Mon and Arunachal's Apatani valley at Ziro are the two most rewarding starting points.
Yes. Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Manipur require Inner Line Permits for Indian nationals and Protected Area Permits for most foreign nationals. We arrange both.
Yes, in several locations. Homestays are available with Konyak, Apatani, Adi and Khasi hosts, with simple but clean rooms and shared family meals.
