Traveller Questions

Planning details that matter.

When is the best time to visit Meghalaya?

October to April is dry and scenic. June–September delivers the famous monsoon waterfalls but treks are slippery; we plan routes accordingly.

Is the living root bridge trek difficult?

It is a 3,500-step descent and ascent — moderate but tiring. We pace it with porters, a village-house overnight and rest swims along the way.

Can Meghalaya be combined with Kaziranga?

Yes. A classic 9–11 day journey pairs Kaziranga's wildlife with Meghalaya's gorges and root bridges via Guwahati.
